Thank you

Good morning. Just a quick thank you really for this website / information – it’s brilliant.
Our daughter aged 15 was diagnosed with anorexia and admitted to our local hospital in February. Her weight was dropping way too fast and her heart and kidneys were failing. She spent 77 days in hospital and was transferred to an inpatient unit at the beginning of May. She is still being fed by  tube, her mental health has deteriorated, the self harm is evident on her head and arms / hands. And she has tried scaling the 10ft fences on several occasions. It’s a rollercoaster ride, as you guys know. But we are determined that our girl will beat this illness – we are with her every step of the way on this journey. My husband, myself and our other two children are going to be raising money for the ward where she spent those 77 days – we are each going to walk 77 miles in August. The nhs kept our baby girl alive – they made her physically better but the nhs needs more mental health support. Sorry I’m waffling but I feel very strongly about the ‘system’ having more help. Thank you. Sarah
