The Bee Group

The Bee Group via Zoom

The group has been designed and is facilitated by Sue Strangeway (Counselor and SEED Volunteer).

Who can attend?

The Bee group is tailored to those experiencing Binge Eating Disorder or binge eating behaviours, aged 18+.

What is the Bee Group?
A safe space for participants who may be experiencing similar challenges to one another to share healthy ideas and coping strategies, whilst being guided and encouraged by an experienced SEED Volunteer and accredited Counsellor.
*This group will not be providing, or act as an alternative to, therapy, and is not suitable for individuals with other complex needs*.

When and where?
The group will run once a fortnight from Wednesday 24th of January 2024 and will run for 6 sessions in total.
It will run between 6.30pm and 8pm via zoom, and we ask for those attending to ensure that they are available for all 6 sessions.

Our hope is that if you are in Hull or the surrounding area, we can offer this group in a face-to-face capacity at our resource centre. If you are interested in this, please let us know when you apply, and we will aim to accommodate this if numbers are sufficient.

Please note that before we can confirm your place on the group, you are required to complete a SEED referral form, criteria checklist, and we will also schedule an informal 1:1 conversation to assess suitability.
